| THE COMPANY:
Our Client, a leading International Retailer with an existing Financial Services arm has established the first European operation in its' drive to build an International Credit Card company from scratch. In order to achieve their strategic growth plans the Management Team has identified the need for an Operations Manager in a highly visible role.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of European Operations you will:
- · Assist in the creation of a strategic Operational infrastructure that supports the existing and future European growth
- Manage relationships with third party suppliers involving the use of SLA's and KPI's; and their ongoing review
- Manage the interface with the European business unit
- Monitoring and analysis of customer service levels
- Create MI systems to monitor and control Operations
- Some travel will be required
THE PERSON:
You can ideally offer:
- Broad Operational Risk experience, preferably within Banking / Financial Services
- Knowledge of management techniques for optimising process designs
- Ability to manage change and implement new processes
- Experience of monitoring and controlling third party suppliers
- Excellent people skills and the ability to build credible and authoritative relationships
- Knowledge and experience of the cards issuing industry and associated regulatory framework / Payment Card Schemes - desirable but not essential
